Information on this site may not be used for non-PTA or non-LJHS purposes without written permission of the PTA.
PTA member private contact information, including email addresses, phone numbers and street addresses, may not be appropriated by, sold to, or shared with, other organizations.
Unauthorized use of any information on this site may subject the unauthorized user to civil penalties.

If you visit the La Jolla High School PTA website to browse (i.e., read or download publicly-posted information), the LJHS PTA system does not collect or store any information about you.
If you contact us directly by email, we may reply to you, but we will not add your contact information to any mailing lists. If you send us an email, you should know that email is not secure against interception. If your communication includes sensitive information, contact us by postal mail or telephone rather than email.
The PTA website links to pages on other websites maintained by various organizations. Once you access a link to another website, you are subject to that website’s privacy policy.

Individuals who subscribe to the PTA eNews system submit their email address via the subscription form. This is a private list managed by Constant Contact (http://www.constantcontact.com). Email addresses are not sold to, or shared with, other organizations. Subscribers who no longer wish to receive eNews may opt out at any time by accessing the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of each emailed notice.

The PTA's online registration system creates a user account on the PTA website for each member. Your email address is used to uniquely identify your member account and provides a way for the system to email your password if you forget. In addition, PTA members may provide other information if they choose to, such as name and graduating year for students attending LJHS and personal contact information for the members-only online directory. Your email and personal contact information will not be shared without your permission.
If you want your contact information to be made available to logged-in PTA members as part of the online member directory, specify that on the profile page when you create your account. You may edit your profile at any time by logging in to your account.
In general, a PTA member’s contact information will not be publicly accessible on the website, except as noted above. An exception is made for PTA volunteers whose duties require that they be easily reachable by the general membership. These volunteers will be listed in the PTA roster linked into the website. Volunteers who do not wish to have their contact information displayed on the website should contact the PTA President and ask that it be removed.

If you visit our web site, we may use session cookies while your browser is open, or while you are logged into our site. To facilitate our registration and login functions, we may use cookies to recognize you when you return to our website or to individual blogs hosted our site. If you do not logout of your account, these cookies allow us to keep track of your username and password, so that you do not have to resubmit the information to log into your account. Always remember to log out of your site or account so that the computer’s other users cannot access your account.

The PTA website links to independently run web sites outside of the ljhighpta.org domain. LJHS PTA is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such web sites.

The LJHS PTA site is intended for adults and we will not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years old.
