La Jolla High School had a change this year to the on-line registration process.  Five students worked on creating a one page document on-line that would allow the remaining registration pages to be auto-filled.  This allowed parents to type their student's information into the computer instead of handwriting it, and in addition, parents only had to type once.  This page that was developed made the entering of information for a family a more streamlined and progressive process.

Mr Davis's 2010 Auto Shop class got first-hand experience in green technology by converting a 1998 Ford Ranger to run on rechargable batteries.  The class removed the truck's gas engine, replacing it with an electric motor and a series of batteries mounted under the hood and in a special compartment in the bed of the truck.  According to Mr. Davis, the vehicle can drive approximately 30 miles between charges and is completely silent.
